Jo Corrigan

I am a qualified Clinical Psychologist and a member of The Australian Psychological Society, the Australian Clinical Psychology Association, the Australian Association of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, The Anxiety Practitioners Network and an Honorary Associate of the University of Sydney, where I supervise graduate students.

I studied Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at the University of New South Wales, where I completed my Masters in Clinical Psychology. I have a graduate diploma in Family Systems from the Family Systems Institute and have completed training in Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and studied Compassion Focused Therapy with Paul Gilbert. In 1992, I studied Transcendental Meditation with Tom Knowles and have practised ever since.

In 1984, I completed a Bachelor of Arts at Sydney University and spent ten years working in the music and media industries.

I am also the Consultant Psychologist for many popular Australian television shows, including The Voice, where I’m responsible for the wellbeing and mental health of contestants in high-stress environments.
